Message intercoolers:

They are amazingly similar, but I am using stock exhaust manifolds which have significantly a significantly larger exducer bore on the turbine wheel. I would bet that the GD manifolds would make a notable difference on my car as in my case, the manifolds themselves are probably the greater restriction.

That PE1420 dyno in Colorado was done a mile up from sea level and we have typically seen many Z's that dyno up there come back with some exceptionally high numbers. This is due to the fact that SAE correction falls on its butt with turbocharged and intercooled systems.. It puts too large of a correction factor into the mix because of altitude, but turbochargers will make up the difference and the intercoolers raise efficiency which SAE correction with dynojets do not account for. I'd feel safe in saying that the 52xRWHP dynochart from the PE1420 in colorado would easily have 20HP less if it were down here in our area.
